Ok so most of you know that I bring Lucas to work with me. Well today one of the aides came in and was talking to Lucas, then she said "he could be a girl." So what the heck does that suppose to mean. He clearly did not look like a girl. He was wearing his light and dark blue striped outfit. (It's in a couple posts down.) So really what the heck am I suppose to think about that comment? It doesn't really bother me because I think my baby is pretty dang cute but i'm his mom and really I don't care what other people think. That comment just caught me off guard. I guess we will always have those weird comments from people. I had my fair share when I was pregnant. I can now finally laugh about all them. I just find it very funny what people come up with and really wonder if they think before they speak.

That is really weird! I guess I would take it as he has really pretty features. Maybe it's those gorgeous blue eyes. I don't know you got me, that's just odd for someone to say! Don't take it personal, he looks like a boy I promise!
Seems like every mother of a newborn has those wierd gender stories. People thinking their girls are boys and their boys are girls. Who cares?! People need to learn to keep their strange comments to themselves!
All I have to say is AMEN TO THAT SISTA!! I had someone ask me if I was pregnant ON MY DUE DATE!!
Try having twins...and hearing stupid strangers comments..Are you the mom??Did you plan on having twins??People annoy the heck out of me, thats one big thing I am trying to prepare myself for!!
As for the is he a girl comment, we got that a few times too, and what they told me is well I know clearly he is a boy, but he is just so beautiful, he could look like a girl.So I guess in a weird way take it as a compliment how beautiful your baby is.And PLEASE trust me he is sooooo darn handsome, I have to log on and let my hubby check your sweet baby out, cause we think he is soo darn cute!!!
I've had people come up to me at Walmart (it's always walmart with the weird comments) and say HE is so cute when Emily is wearing a completely pink outfit...whatever
